Filip Stoyanovich is Chief of Party of the USAID Regional Economic Growth (REG) project in Europe and Eurasia, being implemented by SEGURA Consulting. From 2007 to 2013 he served as Project Director of the Regional Competitiveness Initiative (RCI), also with SEGURA. Prior to that, he worked as a cluster and enterprise development expert in Bulgaria for various USAID projects, until that country’s graduation from USAID.
Mr. Stoyanovich has been involved in economic development in Europe and Eurasia for over 15 years. His areas of activity have included: enhancing competitiveness and clusters, public policy development, ICT, agribusiness and tourism sector development and promotion, investment promotion, government relations, management and administration of international development programs, regional trade cooperation, business associations, public – private sector cooperation and SME development. Besides USAID, he has collaborated with international donors such as the European Union, EBRD BAS Programme, IFC, UNDP, World Bank, GTZ, UNWTO, UNESCO and others.
Mr. Stoyanovich holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Berea College, KY. He speaks English, Bulgarian, and Serbian fluently, and has a working knowledge of Macedonian, Croatian and Greek.
