As subcontractor to IMPAQ International, SEGURA participated in an independent evaluation of USAID’s REPOWER – Kosovo activity, as well as an assessment of the Kosovar energy sector.

The evaluation assessed the extent to which REPOWER was facilitating economic policies to promote a robust clean energy market in Kosovo and improving the enabling environment for private sector investment in the energy sector. The sector assessment identified opportunities for USAID/Kosovo to adjust its programming and plan for future activities in the energy sector in Kosovo.

The evaluation team conducted primary and secondary research, collecting qualitative and quantitative data to address the evaluation and assessment questions. The primary research applied 61 Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) and two Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), reaching a total of 73 persons from 40 stakeholder organizations.
