Meredith Kummings

Meredith Kummings is a Professional Associate with SEGURA Consulting, currently serving as a Technical Advisor in the USAID WASH-FIN Project, working directly from the Tetra Tech project office in Arlington, Virginia supporting a variety of initiatives in Nepal, Philippines and South Africa.  

Prior to joining SEGURA, Meredith  was a Consultant to the World Bank Group’s Water & Sanitation Program on issues relating to Financing Universal Access to Water Supply and Sanitation (WSS). As part of that work, she conducts research and analysis on a range of WSS-related financial sector issues, including commercial finance for WSS infrastructure, sanitation micro-finance, and blended finance for WSS service provision and expansion. Prior to this position, Ms. Kummings worked for a variety of international development organizations, including Fundación Capital, Mendez England & Associates, the Peace Corps, and Mercy Corps (as part of a graduate student practicum).  

Ms. Kummings holds a Master of Arts degree in International Development and Economics from Johns Hopkins University – School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a BA in Political Science and International Studies from Bates College, in Maine.
